髄膜腫の動脈塞栓術—技術的検討

Presurgical Embolization of Meningioma:Technical considerations

I．はじめに

　頭頸部領域の人工動脈塞栓術は選択的血管造影法の発達に伴って急速に普及しつつある．この領域の人工塞栓術では，より有効な塞栓技術の開発と同時に，副作用をいかに最小限に抑えるかが重要な課題である．外頸動脈領域の人工塞栓術の副作用には，必ず避けなければならない内頸動脈への栓子逆流と，塞栓領域の潰瘍形成，浮腫，疼痛等があげられる．安全でしかも有効な塞栓をできるだけ簡便な方法で遂行するための技術的検討を行い，この技術的改良を髄膜腫症例に応用したので報告する．
