Ⅰ.症例
患者:野○周○ 2歳2カ月 男子
主訴:著明なるいそう
A case of profound emaciation associated with a brain tumor is presented. Two years old boy was admitted to our clinic, because of failure to thrive. He was normal at birth, weighing 3250g. The pregnancy, labor, delivery, and neonatal course were uneventful. At 3 months of age he began to lose weight and was noticed to have nystagmoid eye movement.
On admission, physical examination revealed emaciation with body weight of 7800g. irritability and pallor with-out anemia. His vital signs were nomal. Neurological examination revealed the horizontal nystagmus. His mental status was normal.
