味蕾の病理

Pathology of taste buds

　味蕾の病理に関する研究はきわめて少ない。味覚神経の切断による味蕾の変性と再生に関してはVintschgauとHonigschmied（1876）以来動物による数編の研究が見られるが，ヒトの味覚障害における味蕾の病理に関しては，寡聞にしてHenkinらの報告を知るのみである。

　筆者らの経験も，まだ充分ではないが，ヒトの味覚障害の二，三の病態における味蕾の病理，ならびに味覚障害の主要な原因である亜鉛欠乏状態にしたラットの味蕾について，電顕ならびに酵素組織化学的に調べているので，その経験と先人の報告から，現時点における味蕾の病理学を展望してみよう。

Abstract

Reports of the pathology of taste buds have been few.

We described first a review concerning the age-changes of number and form of taste buds, degenerative process of the denervated taste buds and pathological changes in taste buds of the patients with hypogeusia, dysgeusia, hyposmia and dysosmia following influenza-like infection (Henkin et al.).

From our experiences, pathological changes in the taste buds after irradiation and of various taste disorders with no improvement are presented.
