54歳，男性。右陰嚢腫大を主訴に当科を受診した。約20年前に喧嘩による陰嚢外傷があった。受診時，右陰嚢は超手拳大に腫大，画像検査にて陰嚢内血瘤が疑われたが，精巣腫瘍を否定できないため，高位除睾術を施行した。組織学的には陳旧性陰嚢内血瘤であった。
A 54-year-old man visited our hospital complaining right scrotal swelling. He has a past history of scrotal trauma about 20 years ago as a result of quarrel. The right scrotum was over fist size, and scrotal hematocele was strongly suspected by radiological examinations. But we were unable to exclude the possibility of testicu-lar tumor completely. Therefore we performed high orchiectomy. Histological examination revealed chronic scrotal hematocele.
