　50歳，男性．右陰嚢内腫瘤を主訴に来院．試験切開を行い右精索に付着して肉芽様の腫瘤を認めたため摘出した．腫瘤内には黄白色の紐状体が認められ，虫体断面を含む病理組織学的所見によりマンソン孤虫症と診断した．本邦では300例以上のマンソン孤虫症の報告があるが，泌尿器科領域で発見されることは稀である．また本症例のように17年も前にヘビを生食したことに起因すると考えられるような例は極めて少ない．

A 50-year-old male residing in Ibaraki prefecture, visited our hospital with a chief complaint of right intrascrotal tumor. As a result of performing trial excision, a proud flesh-like tumor adhering to the right spermatic cord was detected and accordingly extracted. A yellow-whitish cord was observed in the tumor which was diagnosed as Sparganosis mansoni on the basis of the histopathological findings. It was found that the patient ate snake raw 17 years before. There have been more than 300 cases of Sparganosis mansoni reported in Japan, but the cases in the urological field are rather rare.
