腰部脊柱管狭窄症患者における排尿障害の検討

Clinical study of voiding dysfunction in patients with lumbar spinal canal stenosis

　腰部脊柱管狭窄症に排尿障害が合併することはしばしば認められる。腰部脊柱管狭窄症男性患者28例に対して泌尿器科的自覚症状および他覚所見を検討した。自覚症状では刺激症状に比べて閉塞症状を訴えるものが多かった。整形外科的手術を受けた15例では術後自覚症状の改善は64.3％であった。他覚所見では最大尿流量率が統計学的に有意に改善した。

Patients with lumbar spinal canal stenosis often have voiding dysfunction. We studied on subjective and objec-tive urological findings of 28 men with lumbar spinal canal stenosis. Their subjective symptoms were more obstructive than irritative. In 15 patients who under-went orthopedic surgery, 64.3% of them demonstrated the improvement of urological symptoms postopera-tively. Urodynamic studies following orthopedic surgery showed the significant improvement of maximum flow rate.
