精索脂肪腫の1例

A Case of Lipoma of the Spermatic Cord

　症例は63歳の男性。2週間前からの左陰嚢上部腫瘤を主訴として1999年6月18日に当科初診。左鼠径管内に無痛性の石様硬，拇指頭大の可動性腫瘤を触知した。超音波断層法，CT,MRIにて左精索内に脂肪成分を有すると考えられる腫瘍が認められ，悪性腫瘍の可能性も否定できず，同年7月19日に左精索腫瘍を摘出した。腫瘍の病理組織学的所見は脂肪腫であった。

A 63-year-old man was admitted to our hospital with thechief complaint of painless mass in the left upper scrotum. In physical examination, a stony hard and thumb finger tipsized movable mass with negative transillumination waspalpable in the left inguinal canal. The tumor included lipidcomponent demonstrated by ultrasonography, computedtomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Because ofpossible existence of malignant tumor, resection of thetumor was subsequently performed. The histopathologicalfindings showed Iipoma of the spermatic cord.
