膀胱原発カルチノイド

PRIMARY CARCINOID TUMOR OF THE BLADDER: A CASE REPORT

　患者は64歳，男性。主訴は無症候性の肉眼的血尿。術前検査にて膀胱の右尿管口近くに長径2cmの広基性の粘膜下腫瘍を認めたため，経尿道的切除術を行った。手術後の病理学的検査でカルチノイドと診断した。また，筋層浸潤は認めなかった。術後に消化器系，気管支，縦隔を含めてカルチノイドの原発巣および転移巣の有無を検索したが，異常を認めなかった。以上より，本症例は膀胱原発のカルチノイドと診断した。

A 65 year-old man visited our urological clinic on August. 1, 1996, with asymptomatic gross hematuria. Urethrocys-toscopy revealed a smooth surfaced and broad-based tumor (2 cm in diameter) at the right side of the vesical trigonum.

The patient underwent transurethral resection of August 16, 1996. The pathological diagnosis was a carcinoid tumor of the bladder. Clinical examinations revealed no tumorous lesions in other organs, therefore diagnosis of primary carcinoid tumor of the bladder was established. No recurrence has been seen in the past 6 months.
