75歳，男性．転倒による頭蓋底骨折で当院入院中，直径3cm大の右側陰嚢内腫瘤を発見された．超音波検査では，腫瘤内部は多嚢胞様で，硬化を思わせる高エコー領域を多数認め，睾丸とは明らかに区別された．右陰嚢内腫瘤と判断し，1991年4月30日右陰嚢内腫瘤摘出術を施行した．病理組織学的には海綿状血管腫であった．陰嚢内海綿状血管腫は稀な疾患であり，調べ得た限りでは自験例を含め本邦では21例の報告がみられた．
Scrotal cavernous hemangioma is a rare benign lesion composed of proliferated blood vessels where the large channels are lined by a single layer of endothelial cells. The condition affects only the scrotum and not the scrotal contents. This paper reports a 75-year-old patient with cavernous scrotal hemangioma and reviews the condition from the literature.
