前立腺部尿道に発生した線維上皮性ポリープの1例

FIBROEPITHELIAL POLYP OF THE PROSTATIC URETHRA

　42歳，男性。残尿感・肉眼的血尿を主訴として来院した。尿路造影で膀胱部に充満欠損像を認めた。内視鏡で，前立腺部尿道に直径約3cmの有茎性腫瘤を認めた。前立腺部尿道腫瘍の診断をくだし，経尿道的腫瘍切除術を行ったところ，病理組織学的に線維上皮性ポリープであった。術後4年9カ月経過した現在，再発を認めていない。

A 42-year-old man was referred to our department because of feeling of incomplete voiding and gross -hematuria. Panendoscopy revealed a pedunculated polyp at the prostatic urethra. Transurethral resection (TUR) of this polyp was made and the resected specimen demonstrated histologically that the stroma was edematous and composed of loose connective tissue involving bundles of smooth muscle and rich vessel, and that they were covered by normal transitional epithelium in which there were focal areas of squamous metaplasia.
