前立腺部尿道より発生した線維上皮性ポリープ

Fibroepithelial polyp arising in the prostatic urethra：A case report

49歳，男性が，肉眼的血尿のため近医を受診。尿道膀胱鏡検査にて，前立腺部尿道にポリープ状腫瘤を認めた。この腫瘍の経尿道的手術のため当科を紹介された。切除腫瘍の病理組織学的所見は，線維上皮性ポリープであった。文献的に検索すると，本邦では自験例を含め14例の報告がある。発症年齢は欧米では若年とされているが本邦では高かった。尿道ポリープは，若年から中年男性の肉眼的血尿や血精液症の原因の1つであると考えられる。

A 49-year-old man presenting gross hematuria and a polypoid lesion in prostatic urethra was referred to our department for transurethral resection of this tumor. Histopathological examination of the resected tumor revealed a fibroepithelial polyp. Fourteen cases of this disease could be accumulated in the Japanese literatures,in which this polyp more commonly occurs in older generation compared with younger one in Europe and America. Urethral polyp should be considered in the differential diagnosis of gross hematuria and hematospermia in a younger and middle-aged man.
