62歳の男性で，左鼠径部腫瘤を主訴として来院した。腫瘍生検で悪性線維性組織球腫と診断し腫瘍切除術を施行した。術後化学療法，放射線療法を行ったが，局所再発および肺転移で1年後に死亡した。自験例は精索悪性線維性組織球腫として本邦8例目と思われる。
A 62-year old man developed a tumor in the left inguinal region. The biopsy of the tumor was done and pathological diagnosis was malignant fibrous histiocytoma. The tumor was completely resected but he died with local recurrence and lung metastasis one year after the operation. This is the 8 th case of malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the spermatic cord in Japan.
