　最近3年間に人間ドックで超音波断層検査（US）を35,004例に行い，4例（0.01％）の腎細胞癌を発見した。近年US, CTによる偶然発見腎癌が増えているが，自験例を含めた本邦12報告例について分析した。1例を除いてすべて男性で，平均年齢は49.6歳と若年であつた。顕微鏡的血尿は16.7％と低率で，1例を除いて無症候性であつた。切除腫瘍の大きさは平均4.6×3.4cmと小さく，深達度はすべて低く，以上より早期発見といえた。非侵襲性のUSは腎癌のマススクリーニングに有用である。

We have perfomed US on 35,004 cases in the human docks center for recent 3 years and found renal cell carcinoma in 4 cases (0.01%). The number of this disease incidentally detected by US and CT has been increasing in recent years. We analyzed 12 cases reported in Japan including ours.

The age was younger, 49.6 years in average. The incidence of microscopic hamaturia was 16.7 percent. They were asymptomatic except 1 case. The size of resected tumors was small, 4.6×3.4cm on the average. The stage was low in all cases. It should be stressed that US of non-intervention is useful in mass-screening of cancer of the kidney.
