骨盤腔に発生した神経鞘腫の1例

A CASE OF SCHWANNOMA FROM PELVIC SPACE

緒言

　神経鞘腫とは末梢神経のSchwann cellより発生する主に良性腫瘍である。頭頸部に発生することが多いが，腹膜後腔に発生することは稀であるといわれている。われわれは骨盤腔に発生した神経鞘腫の1例を経験したので本症を報告するとともに若干の文献的考察を行う。

A 52-year-old woman was admitted with the complaint of lower abdominal mass and pain in the right thigh and lumber region. Physical examination revealed a child's head-sized mass with smooth surface. Radical operation was performed on August 22, 1983. Pelvic organs including bladder, uterus and rectum were compressed laterally by the markedly enlarged tumor, which occupied the whole space. The elastic and encapsulated tumor also showed the adhesion to the sacral bone. Extirpation was carried out without any noticable alteration of blood pressure.
