粘液産生性前立腺癌の1例

MUCINOUS ADENOCARCINOMA OF THE PROSTATE: REPORT OF A CASE

緒言

　粘液産生性前立腺癌はきわめて稀な疾患である。本症は前立腺膠様癌，粘液腺癌，ムチン産生腫瘍という病名でも報告されている。今回われわれは，経過中に血漿CEA　（癌胎児性抗原）高値を示した1例を経験したので報告する。

A 62-year-old man was referred to us with uremic symptoms. On rectal examination the prostate was hard and enlarged. Although serum acid phosphatase levels were normal, plasma CEA levels were extremely elevated. The patient died of DIC and renal failure 33 months after his first visit. Autopsy revealed mucinous adenocarcinoma of the prostate with metastasis to the bladder, rectum, bone marrow and diaphragm.
