膀胱癌再発における尿細胞診と尿中FDPの併用の検討

THE COMBINED DIAGNOSTIC AID OF URINARY CYTOLOGY AND FIBRIN/FIBRINOGEN DEGRADATION PRODUCTS (FDP) FOR RECURRENT BLADDER TUMORS

緒言

　今日悪性腫瘍の治療に際し，早期診断が最も望まれることはいうまでもない。特に膀胱癌においては，膀胱保存手術後の多中心性再発傾向が大であり，経過観察に際し簡便でかつ正確な診断法が必要とされる。癌診断法の1つとしてPapanicolaouにより確立された細胞診があり，泌尿器科領域においても尿細胞診として診断の有力な一助となつている。今回膀胱移行上皮癌における膀胱保存手術後の再発を早期に発見する目的で尿中fibrin／fibrinogen degradation products　（以下FDPと略す）と尿細胞診の併用につき検討し，若干の知見を得たので報告する。

Patients who had received surgical intervention for bladder tumors were subjected to a followup study using a combined evaluation by urinary cytology and fibrin/fibrinogen degradation products (FDP) assay. Tumor recurrence was cystoscopically determined every three months, and also urinary cytology and FDP assay were performed

In a 6-month-followup study, there was a significant difference between the tumor recurrence rates of the FDP-positive and -negative groups (p<0.01), but no significant relationships between the recur-rence rates and FDP levels.
