Methotrexate, Vinblastine, Adriamycin, Cisplatin 併用療法により完全寛解がえられた進行性尿道癌

A CASE OF ADVANCED URETHRAL CARCINOMA TREATED WITH A COMBINED THERAPY OF METHOTREXATE, VINBLASTINE, ADRIAMYCIN AND CISPLATIN

　進行性尿道癌に対しCisplatinを含む4剤併用抗癌化学療法を施行し完全寛解した症例について報告する。患者は55歳，男性で肉眼的血尿および尿閉の精査加療の目的で1985年7月2日入院。前立腺浸潤を伴う進行性尿道癌で生検にて移行上皮癌，gradcⅢが確認された。Methotrexate, Vinblastine, AdriamycinおよびCisplatin併用療法を施行したところ完全寛解が得られ12ヵ月後の現在も再発転移を認めていない。

A 55-year-old male patient visited our clinic on July, 2, 1986, because of macroscopic hematuria and urinary retention. An invasive urethral tumor was discovered on cystoscopy. Biopsy specimens showed invasive transitional cell carcinoma, grade III, infiltrating into the prostate. There was no distant metastasis on imaging diagnosis. M-VAC (Methotrexate, vinblastine, adriamycin and cisplatin) regimen described by Sternberg in 1985 was used. Complete remission of the tumor was obtained after 1 course of the M-VAC regimen without any serious complications. There was no tumor recurrence with a 12 month tumor free time.
