膀胱の非上皮性腫瘍は上皮性腫瘍に比べるとかなり稀なものである。今回われわれは膀胱の非上皮性良性腫瘍の一つである平滑筋腫の1例を経験したのでこれを報告し，本邦報告例症例について若干の文献的考察を加えた。
A 43-year-old man was seen complaining gross hematuria. Cystoscopy revealed multilocular solid mass in the retrotrigone which proved to be non-epithelial benign tumor by TUR-biopsy. The tumor, 40 gm in weight, was easily excised through cystotomy and proved to be leiomyoma histologically which was comfirmed electron-microscopically by the presence of myofilament in the cytoplasm. Post-operative course was uneventful and he is doing well four months after the operation.
There were 59 documented cases of bladder leiomyoma in the domestic literature and no case of malignant transformation was reported.
