小児膀胱横紋筋肉腫の1例—特にその光顕および電顕像について

IMPORTANCE OF ELECTRONMICROSCOPIC OBSERVATIONS FOR DIAGNOSIS OF RHABDOMYOSARCOMA:A CASE REPORT OF A CHILD WITH BOTRYOID TUMOR OF THE URINARY BLADDER

緒言

　われわれは最近，小児膀胱のいわゆるブドウ状肉腫を経験した。摘出腫瘍の病理組織学的検索において，光顕像では，胎児型横紋筋肉腫を思わせるものの，広汎な検索にもかかわらず横紋を認め得なかつた。しかし，電顕像により，横紋筋肉腫と同定するにたる筋原性細糸を認めて組織学的診断を確認したので，臨床経過とともにこれらの所見について報告する。

Presented is a 3 year-old boy with so-called botryoid sarcoma of the urinary bladder, com-plaining difficult urination. Cystoscopic findings and excretory cystogram suggested the above diagnosis. He underwent total cystectomy with partial urethrectomy and bilateral ureterosigmoidostomy in November 1976, followed by cyclic chemotherapy of both actonomycin D and vincristine for 21 months, and manifested no signs of recurrence at present.

Microscopic observations revealed that the tumor was consisted of either ovoid or spindly shaped cells with PAS positive granules, which suggested embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma.
