緒言

　泌尿器科にて取扱う先天異常として性器奇形は尿路奇形とならび重要な奇形である。性器奇形に関しては明確な分類法は確立していない。今回われわれはこれら性器—性腺・副性器の異常を，1）単純な，性別は明瞭な性器の発育異常として停留睾丸・尿道下裂など，2）性染色体または性腺・副性器の分化発育の不調和による異常いわゆるインターセックスとに分類し，横浜市大病院泌尿器科の1971年より1980年の10年間における性器奇形患者の統計的観察を試みたので報告する。

Genital malformations are important congenital anomalies as well as urinary tract malformations. Seven hundred and three patients with genital malformations were found in 23,392 total outpatient visit in the period of 1971 to 1980 in the Department of Urology, Yokohama City University. The incidence was 3.0%. Cryptorchidism, hypospadia and intersex were the three most frequent anomalies in this study. Hypogonadism, eunuchoidism and precocious puberty were excluded in this report because it was obscure wheter these disturbances were congenital or not.
