当教室10年間における馬蹄鉄腎15症例の検討

CLINICAL OBSERVATIONS ON FIFTEEN CASES OF HORSESHOE KIDNEY

緒言

　馬蹄鉄腎は，二つの腎原性胚芽のmesial fusionによつて形成された奇形であり，その発生は胎生4〜7週といわれ，本症に関する研究は古くより詳細に行なわれている。われわれは，当教室における最近10年間の症例を集計し，検討したので，ここに文献的考察を加え報告する。

Clinical analysis was done on the 15 cases of horseshoe kidney experienced at the Urological Depa-rtment, Yokohama City University, School of Medicine in the last 10 years and the following results were obtained.

1) 15 cases consisted of 9 male, and 6 female.

2) The age incidence predominated in the third decade. (approximately 40%)

3) No case with history suggesting Rovsing's syndrome was encountered in our series.

4) Urinary tract infection was absent in half of the cases.
