女子尿道平滑筋腫の1例—本邦43例の文献的考察

LEIOMYOMA OF THE FEMALE URETHRA: A CASE REPORT AND A REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE

緒言

　女子尿道および尿道周辺に原発する非上皮性良性腫瘍は比較的稀な疾患であり，このうち平滑筋腫は半数以上を占めるが，本邦文献上は少なく，42例にすぎない。最近，われわれは，女子尿道に発生した平滑筋腫の1例を経験したので，症例を報告するとともに本邦における女子尿道の非上皮良性腫瘍に関して若干の文献的考察を述べる。

A 43-year-old married woman presented with a palpable painless mass at vaginal orifice. Physical examination revealed a walnut-sized, elastic and firm mass on the anterior vaginal wall. An excretory urogram was not significant except for a small amount of residual urine on the postvoiding film. At operation, the mass was seen to be attatched to the left posterolateral wall of the urethra with feeding vessels. The histopathological diagnosis of the specimen was leiomyoma. The postoperative course was uneventful.
