緒言

　尿道に原発する腫瘍は泌尿器科臨床上，必ずしも稀ではないが，平滑筋腫は比較的稀であり，本邦文献上34例にすぎない^1）。すでに当教室の多嘉良らが2例を報告しているが^2），最近われわれは，さらに女子尿道平滑筋腫の1例を経験したので報告する。

A 34-year-old married female was admitted to the hospital with the chief complaint of a painless mass at the external genitalia. The mass was first noticed 5 years ago at the delivery and had a tendency to increase even after the delivery. Local findings revealed a hen's egg-sized, smooth surfaced and elastic hard mass, protruding from the right lateral wall of the urethra. The removed mass was 4.5×3.5×3.0cm in size and 22gm in weight. Histopathological study showed benign leiomyoma without any evi-dence of infiltration into the surrounding tissues.

Review of the literature was made.
