  • Look Inside

A 6-year-old boy was admitted because of small penis and spattered urinary stream. He had no urinary incontinence. The penis was concealed in the scrotum and normal in size. The meatus was located at the middle portion of the dorsal aspect of the penis and its distal portion exhibited a mucous groove extending to the dorsum of the glans. Plain film disclosed slight separation of the pubic symphysis. He underwent urethroplasty with uneventful convalescence. After the operation, patient has been able to urinate without spattering. The incidence and surgical treatment of epispadias were briefly discussed.
