This is a study of a 30-year-old patient with a right giant ureteral stone with 31 other cases reported in our country.

The patient underwent left pyelolithotomy in '77. In '78 he had spontaneous passage of a stone, but in '79 had a pain in the right abdomen and the waist with vomiting. Diagnosis was a right giant ureteral stone and a left staghon calculus. Right ureterolithotomy was performed and the stone was a waxen, yellow ocher cigar-stone, sized 5. 7 × 1. 8 × 1. 5cm and weighed 12. Og.

The right pyelogram became visualized two weeks after the operation.
