腎平滑筋肉腫の1例

A CASE OF RENAL LEIOMYOSARCOMA

緒言

　従来極めて稀とされていた腎平滑筋肉腫は，近年その頻度を増し腎肉腫のうちでは最も多い疾患とされている。しかし，平滑筋肉腫が腎に発生することは非常に稀である。最近われわれは手術時摘出不能で，剖検時広汎な浸潤と多発性に転移を認めた腎平滑筋肉腫の1例を経験したので若干の考察を加えて報告する。

Leiomyosarcoma rarely occurs in the kidney. Recently, a case of leiomyosarcoma of the left kidney was seen and reported.

The patient was a 58-year-old man, who came to our hospital because of sharp pain in the left lower abdomen and enlargement of the left scrotum. Following angiography and CT scanning he was diagnosed as having a hypovascular left renal tumor which originated in the lower pole of the left kidney with spread to the abdominal aorta.

Resection of the tumor was attempted.
