巨大尿管結石症例

A CASE OF THE GIANT URETERAL STONE

緒言

　尿路結石症は，泌尿器科領域において最もPo-pularな疾患であり，稲田^1）の全国統計によれば，昭和35年以降，泌尿器科患者に対する尿石症の頻度は8.0％をこえているとされている。

　戦前の統計では膀胱結石が多く，戦後はすべて上部尿路結石，ことに尿管結石が多い。稲田の全国統計でも尿石の部位は，尿管が最多数を占めている。

A case of giant ureteral calculi sized more than 2.5cm in diameter, was reported.

The case is a 52 year-old female, who visited our clinic with the chief complaint of asymptomatic hematuria enhanced by body movement on the middle of March 1970. Scout film of the abdomen reve-aled a large stone shadow on the left side between the second and fourth lumbar vertebra and marked dilatation of left renal calyces without outline of kidney pelvis and ureter was noted by I.V.P., Left ureterolithotomy was perfomed and the removed stone sized 6.5×1.8×1.6cm and weighed 10.5g.
