交通外傷による腎損傷

THE STUDIES OF RENAL INJURY DUE TO TRAFFIC TRAUMA

緒言

　交通事故による死亡率は近年減少傾向にあるといわれているが，被害者の外傷範囲は多岐にわたり，その後遺症で苦しむケースは脳神経系や骨筋系だけではなく，泌尿器系損傷もあることは周知のことである。

　最近5年間に県立厚木病院，交通救急センターで取り扱つた腎外傷は44症例におよぶが，そのうち交通事故との関連性をもつ29症例を中心に臨床的検討を加え，さらに本邦で発表された腎外傷の統計的観察から，いくつかの問題点を考察してみたい。

Nineteen cases out of 44 renal injury were due to traffic accidents at the emergency center of the Atsugi Municipal Hospital in the last 5 years.

Since the traffic trauma is generally multiple and complicated, renal injury is often masked by main symptoms of CNS, bone and cardio-pulmonary injury. This will lead to not only delayed treatment but unnecessary surgery. We emphasize the necessity to perform intravenous pyelography in any case of traffic trauma at an emergency room.
