慢性前立腺炎の治療経験—特にカナマイシンの効用について

THE EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES ON MANAGEMENT OF CHRONIC PROSTATITIS:THE EFFECT OF KANAMYCIN

緒言

　慢性前立腺炎に対する治療法は未だに議論の多いところである^1）が，化学療法が治療の中心的役割を果していることには間違いない^2）。しかし慢性前立腺炎には起炎菌の証明されない症例が多く，したがつて原因菌の感受性検査も多くの場合不可能である^3〜5）。このような理由から広域抗菌性抗生物質がこの疾患の治療に当つてまず使用されているが，前立腺組織への薬剤の移行濃度，化学療法剤による臨床効果あるいはその副作用などについても十分検討して使用しなければならないことはもちろんである。著者らはStameyら^6,7）の実験に基づいて化学抗生剤の慢性前立腺炎に対する臨床的応用を検討してきたが，カナマイシンの効果が他剤に比べ卓越しているように思われるので，その結果をまとめてみた。

The response of chronic prostatitis to Kanamycin with or without prostatic massage was evaluated. 35 patients with chronic prostatitis who had previously been treated with numerous different antibiotics were given Kanamycin injection 2 grams a week, 5 grams in total amount. 28% of the patients were seen in excellent result without shorttime recurrence and 52% became better by the treatment. The pros-tatic massage was performed simultaneously in 14 cases in which 64% became well while 87% of non-massaged patients became well with only Kanamycin.
