Clinical feature and treatment of renal injury during our 10 year experience with 42 patients (38 males and 4 females) were presented. A variety of causes included traffic accidents (23 patients), labor accidents (10 patients), sports accidents (8 patients) and others (6 patients). The most frequent associated injury was fracture of rib (8out of 15 patients).

Renal wounds were classified as contusions (24 patients), mild ruptures (8 patients), moderate ruptures (3 patient), severe ruptures (5 patients) and lacerations (2 patients).
