序言

CLINICAL INVESTIGATION OF RENAL TRANSPLANTATION

　1968年末までの時点において，腎移植の臨床例をもつている大学泌尿器科の仲間が相集まり研究班を組織し，腎移植について臨床的な総合研究を行なつてきた。その組織も1971年3月をもつて文部省からの研究費が打切られたのを機会に解散せざるをえなくなつた。そこでこの2年間の班員の研究業績をとりまとめ，本誌上を借りて発表することにした。

　なお各班員の分担課題は上記の通りであり，互いに連絡をとりつつ総合的研究の成果を挙げるべく努めた。

Although human renal allograft transplantation has been accomplished in many patients, the long-term survival of these patients, has been poor. The Educationn Ministry Cooperative Urological Research Group was organized primarily to study many clinical aspects of renal transplantation, and this paper reports the various clinical and laboratory observations.

The Cooperative Group includes 10 university hospitals located throughout Japan. It was formed in April 1969 and disorganized in March 1971.
