Candida albicansによる膿腎症の1治験例

PYONEPHROSIS DUE TO CANDIDA ALBICANS: A CASE SECONDARY TO THE CULCULOUS OBSTRUCTION OF URETER

緒言

　尿路カンジダ症は，比較的稀な疾患であつたが，近年，抗生物質，ステロイド剤，免疫抑制剤，抗腫瘍剤などの使用が盛んになるにつれて，その発症も増加しつつある。すなわち，Candidaはヒトの口腔，気道，腸管，腟などに常在する非病原性真菌であるが，菌交代現象などにより病原性を有してくる場合が多い。

　われわれは，最近，糖尿病を伴う前立腺癌患者治療中，尿管結石嵌頓による尿流通過障害に合併したCandida albicansによる膿腎症を尿管切石術のみで治癒せしめた1症例を経験したので報告する。

A 72-year-old male was referred to this hospital for the intensive treatment of prostatic cancer following the transurethral resection of prostate. In addition to the prostatic cancer he had diabetes mellitus and renal pelvic stone, and also he had been given massive antibiotics postoperatively. Fifteen days after admission he suddenly had a high fever, left flank pain and nausea while treated by estrogen therapy. An excretory urogram revealed left non-visualized kidney associated with left ureteral stone.
