精索腫瘍は比較的稀なものとされているが，欧米文献ではCloquet （1819）の脂肪腫の報告以来300余例に及び，また本邦文献上では伊藤（1912）の円形細胞肉腫を第1例として現在まで30余例の報告があるにすぎない。
最近，私達は精索脂肪腫の1例を経験したので以下報告する。
Tumor of the spermatic cord is considered to be a rather rare disease. A recently experienced case of lipoma of the spermatic cord is reported.
A 57 years old clerk visited our clinic with the chief complaint of a mass in the left scortum and sterility. Palpation of the scrotal content revealed bilateral atrophic testicles and an elastic soft, hen egg-sized mass of the left spermatic cord with pseudofiuctuation.
True lipoma of the spermatic cord was confirmed by surgery and histological examination. Remo-ved specimen weighed 10.0g and sized 5×3×3cm.
