腎細胞癌は，小児期に発生することは稀である。患者は13歳，男性で，右背部痛と肉眼的血尿を訴えて当科に紹介となった。腹部CTとMRIでは右腎細胞癌と診断された。後腹膜鏡下腎摘除術を施行した。切除標本の病理診断は，Xp11.2/TFE3転座腎癌であった。術後9か月を経過するが，患者は再発なく生存中である。

Renal cell carcinoma rarely occurs in childhood. The patient was a 13-year-old boy,referred to our hospital complaining of right back pain and gross hematuria. Abdominal CT scan and MRI showed a right renal cell carcinoma. Retroperitoneoscopic radical nephrectomy was performed and pathological diagnosis of resected specimen was renal carcinoma associated with Xp11.2 translocations/TFE3 gene fusions. Nine months after the surgery,the patient is alive without disease.
