尿閉をきたした前立腺性上皮性ポリープ

A CUTE URINE RETENTION DUE TO BENIGN POLYP WITH PROSTATIC-LIKE EPITHELIUM OF THE URETHRA

　41歳，男性。肉眼的血尿とそれに続く尿閉の訴えにて当科外来を受診した。各種X線学的検査や膀胱尿道鏡検査にて，前立腺部尿道から膀胱内に突出した栂指頭大の腫瘤を認めた。これを生検し，同時に経尿道的電気切除を施行した。組織学的には前立腺上皮性ポリープと診断した。経過観察していたところ5年後に再発をきたし，再度切除した。

A 41-year-old man was consulted to our clinic for urinary retention and macrohematuria. Cystoure-throscopic examination revealed polyps on the prostatic urethral wall, which were biopsied and treated with TUR. These polyps were covered by columner cells which were stained positively by PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen). The lesion was diagnosed histologically benign as polyp with prostatictype epithelium. In this case the recurrence of the polyp was seen 5 years after the initial TUR.
