尿道カテーテル自己抜去による膀胱異物

Foley catheter fragment as foreign body caused by self removal

　症例は53歳の男性。統合失調症にて精神科入院中。Foleyカテーテルの自己抜去に伴い，断片が膀胱内異物となり当科を受診した。内視鏡下に断片を確認し摘出した。自己抜去においても安全に抜去されるFoleyカテーテルの開発が待たれる。

A 53-year old male,with schizophrenia,presented suspecting bladder foreign body,caused by self removal of Foley catheter. Foley cather fragment was removed under the endoscopic guide. A new safer Foley catheter is expected,which prevents complications associated with self removal of the catheter.
