高齢者の上咽頭に生じた胎児型横紋筋肉腫の1例

Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma of the Nasopharynx in Aged Patient:A Case Report

　はじめに

　横紋筋肉腫は小児や若年者に多い腫瘍で，胎児型横紋筋肉腫はすべての横紋筋肉腫の3／4を占め，多くは小児期に発症し，40歳を超えて発症することは稀である。鼻腔，咽頭などに発生する症例は比較的多く，558例を集計したEnzingerら^1）の報告では73例（13.1％）であった。小児の横紋筋肉腫は手術，化学療法および放射線療法が行われるようになり治療成績が向上してきたが，成人例では依然として予後は不良である。今回化学療法，放射線照射によって寛解した73歳女性の鼻腔から副鼻腔，上咽頭に及ぶ胎児型横紋筋肉腫を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Rhabdomyosarcoma occurs predominantly in in-fants and children, but less frequently in adolescents and young adults. Embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma of the nasopharynx of the aged patients is rare. A 73-year-old female with embryonal rhabdomyosar-coma of the nasopharynx was showing a complete remission after the treatment with vincristine, dactinomycin and cyclophosphamide, and irradia-tion.
