成人鼻腔に発生した胎児型横紋筋肉腫

Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma in the Nasal Cavity

I．はじめに

　横紋筋肉腫は主として四肢，？幹に発生するが頭頸部領域に発生することも稀ではなく，頭頸部では眼窩内が最も多い。なかでも鼻副鼻腔に生じるものは予後も悪くかつ治療法も確立していない。頭頸部領域での横紋筋肉腫は主として1〜12歳ぐらいまでに多発するが，最近われわれは成人の鼻腔に原発した胎児型横紋筋肉腫を経験した。本症例について報告するとともに文献的考察を加えることとする。

A embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma originating in the nasal cavity was presented in a 71-year-old man suffered from nasal obstruction and epistaxis. CT scan revealed a massive tumor lesion in the nasal cavity. Histological examination showed em-bryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. Surgery and chemo-therapy (CYVADIC) were performed and the patient survived with no evidence of disease for 15 months postoperatively. Multidisciplinary treat-ment is considered to be effective for rhabdomyo-sarcoma.
