  • Look Inside

A 71-year-old male with peripheral facial nerve palsy was initially treated as Bell's palsy. However, the treatment was not effective, and the following imaging and clinical examinations revealed that the facial nerve palsy was caused by metastatic inva-sion to the temporal bone from the liver. The periphe-ral facial nerve palsy caused by secondary malig-nant metastatic tumors of the temporal bone is rare.
