外耳道に寄生したフタトゲチマダニの2例

Two Cases of Ixodid Tick in the External Auditory Canal

　はじめに

　外耳道異物は日常外来診療においてしばしば遭遇する疾患の1つである。その種類は有生と無生に大別され，前者では一般に昆虫が多いとされているがダニ類の報告例は少ない回^1〜4）。

　今回，著者らは外耳道に寄生し吸血していたフタトゲチマダニ（Haemaphysalis longicornis）の2例を経験したので報告する。

Two patients were infested by ixodid tick in theexternal auditory canal. The ticks were mature females, Haemaphvsalis longicornis. and the one was in the early stage of sucking blood, the other in the stage of almost full engorgement. People who have pets such as dog and who like outdoor life, have to pay attention to infestation of ixodid tick in the external auditory canal.
