はじめに

　化膿性肉芽腫は増殖した毛細血管を主体とする良性腫瘍であり，しばしば皮膚や粘膜の損傷部位から発生する。妊娠を契機に発生・増大することもあり，耳鼻咽喉科領域では鼻腔内や口腔内に発生することが知られているが^1），外耳道に発生することはきわめて稀である。今回われわれは外耳道に発生した化膿性肉芽腫の1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Pyogenic granuloma occasionally occurs and increases during pregnancy. It occurs in the nasal and oral cavities in the field of otorhinolaryngology. Herein, we report a case of pyogenic granuloma in the external auditory canal. A man in his 40s presented to our otorhinolaryngology department with a chief complaint of fluid leakage from the ear. A tumor in the right external auditory canal was observed. The biopsy revealed a pyogenic granuloma. In addition to surgical resection, electrocautery of the granuloma base was performed. Treatment was successful, without recurrence.
