上顎骨転移を起こした肝細胞癌の1症例

A Case of Metastatic Hepatocellular Carcinoma of the Maxilla

　はじめに

　どのような臓器に発生した癌からも口腔内へ転移することは少なく，全口腔内悪性腫瘍に占める転移性腫瘍の割合はきわめて低い^1〜4）。また，肝細胞癌の好発転移臓器は肺であり，他に副腎，骨などにも転移することがあるが顎顔面骨，頭蓋骨への転移は極めて少ない^5）。われわれは，肝細胞癌が上顎骨転移を起こした症例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 61-year-old Japanese male complained of a hemorrhagic swelling of the maxillary region of the oral cavity. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with liver cirrhosis was diagnosed by needle biopsy and the patient received partial lobectomy of the liver 4 years ago. Histopathological examination of the oral cavity tumor disclosed metastatic HCC. Maxil-lary metastasis of HCC is very rare, and only 28 cases with maxillary and mandibular metastasis of HCC have been reported.
