腎細胞癌顎下腺転移の1症例

A Case of Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma to the Submandibular Gland

I．はじめに

　腎細胞癌は全身のあらゆる臓器に転移し得る疾患で，頭頸部では4～15.2％の頻度で認められる^1～4）。その中で，稀ではあるが顎下腺転移の症例報告も散見される^5～10）。

　今回われわれは，腎細胞癌のため腎臓摘出4年後に顎下腺転移をきたした症例を経験したので，文献的考察を加え報告する。

　A 70-year-old male complained of a painless swelling of the left submandibular gland.

　Four years earlier he underwent radical nephrectomy because of renal cell carcinoma. During this admission he underwent resection of the submandibular gland.

　Histopathological examination demonstrated clear cell carcinoma. Complete removal of the lesion was the first choice of treatment.

　Metastatic renal cell carcinoma presenting as a submandibular salivary gland tumor was rare,and we discussed the disease with a review of the literature.
