振子様扁桃腺の2症例

　緒言

　1885年Juraszは右後口蓋弓下部より発生せる有茎性振子様腫瘍を摘出し「口蓋扁桃腺自己がその頸により咽頭腔に懸垂するものを振子様口蓋扁桃腺と云う」と定義した。私は最近此の2例に相次いで遭遇し第1例は両側に，第2例は右側にあり母口蓋扁桃腺と共に摘出し興味ある所見に接したので茲に報告する。

Two cases of pendulous tonsils are reported. In one case the pendulous outgrowth of the gland is extending from the superior pole of the tonsil and in the other, from the inferior. In both cases the base of the pendulum con-sisted of normal glandular tissue which grad-ually tapered off into cells of infectious gla-nulation. The author considers the causative factors of such formation the result of chronic irritation derived from presence of infection and/or possibly of allergic element.
