白老町学校健診におけるスクラッチテスト陽性率—第2報：鼻アレルギーとの関連

Results of Scratch Test in Physical Examination of Students in Shiraoi-cho, Hokkaido:The second report; Correlation with Nasal Allergy

　はじめに

　鼻アレルギーは増加しているのだろうか。われわれはそんな臨床上の疑問に答える目的で，白老町の全児童生徒を網羅する学校健診^1）の成績を分析した。今回は，その健診で鼻アレルギーと臨床診断名のついた児童生徒に関し，検討する。

To clarify whether the prevalence of nasal allergy is increasing, we conducted physical examination of students in the elementary and junior high schools in Shiraoi-cho, Hokkaido. The incidence of nasal allergy in student was 4.5%, increased with age, and higher in males. The manifestation of their symp-toms which reflects hypersensitivity of nasal mucosa was also increased with age. Thus, the increasing tendency of nasal allergy with time was suggested. It is necessary to confirm the time-de-pendent increase in prevalence rate in each subject, and to observe its time-dependent variations in different generations.
