A case of neurinoma thought to be originated from the superior sympathetic ganglion in a 34-year-old woman presented with a right subauricular mass was reported. Examinations revealed the mass located in the parapharyngeal space with neur-inomatous feature. Operation proved the tumor from the superior sympathetic ganglion. His-tological diagnosis was neurinoma. The tumor was simply removed without reconstruction of the nerve. Ipsilateral Horner's signs were observed postoper-atively. Three months after the operation, miosis was still persisting.
