術前診断として超音波断層法が有用だった頸部交感神経鞘腫の1例

Neurinoma of the Cervical Sympathetic Nerve Diagnosed by Ultrasonography:Report of a Case

　はじめに

　頸部交感神経由来の腫瘍は比較的まれであり，特異的な臨床所見に乏しいので，術前診断は困難であることが多い。今回われわれは画像診断，なかでも超音波断層法（US）による精査の結果，交感神経由来神経鞘腫の術前診断のもとに手術を施行し，腫瘤が頸部交感神経鞘腫であることを確認し得た貴重な症例を経験したので報告する。

Neurinoma of the cervical sympathetic nerve is relatively uncommon and the preoperative diag-nosis is difficult. A 38-year-old female presented with a painless mass in the left neck. Ultraso-nography showed a tumor originated from the cervical sympathetic nerve. The tumor was re-moved from the cervical sympathetic nerve. The usefullness of the ultrasonography was discussed.
