下頸部に発生した交感神経鞘腫例

Neurinoma of the Cervical Sympathetic Nerve:Report of a Case

　はじめに

　神経原性腫瘍は頸部腫瘍のなかでも比較的少ない疾患で，とりわけ交感神経に発生するものは少なく，そのなかでも下頸部に発生したものはまれである。最近，われわれは下頸部に発生し各種画像診断により交感神経鞘腫の診断のもとに手術を施行し，腫瘍が交感神経由来であることを確認し得た症例を経験したので報告する。

Neurinoma of the cervical sympathetic nerve is relatively uncommon, specially rare in the lower cervical region. A 45-year-old female presented with a painless mass in the left lower neck. Imaging studies including CT scan, MRI and ultrasonogra-phy revealed a tumor originated from the cervical sympathetic nerve. At surgery the tumor was found to be originated from the left cervical sympathetic trunk. Horner's sign was noted postoperatively.
