胃癌からの転移性口蓋扁桃腫瘍の1例—胃・食道重複癌症例

Tonsillar Metastasis from Gastric Cancer:A Case Report

　はじめに

　口蓋扁桃に生じる腫瘍のほとんどは原発性腫瘍で，頭頸部領域以外の部位からの転移性腫瘍は非常にまれである。今回われわれは進行胃癌と早期食道癌の重複癌患者に生じた転移性扁桃腫瘍の1例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を交えて報告する。

A 74-year-old male complained of bleeding from throat. Total gastrectomy and partial eso-phagectomy were performed for double cancer, Borrmann II type tubular adenocarcinoma of the stomach and early esophageal squamous cell car-cinoma one year ago. Multiple liver metastases were already found. Otolaryngological examination showed right tonsillar tumor. Tonsillar biospy revealed adenocarcinoma, most likely originated from the gastric cancer. The patients died from re-bleeding.
