低出力レーザーによる扁桃誘発試験の試み

Trial of Tonsillar Provocation Test by the Direct Irradiation of the Low Power Laser

　はじめに

　扁桃病巣感染症疑いの症例に対して，扁桃誘発試験の結果は，扁桃摘出術の適応を決める際の重要な指標となる。しかしながら当教室における最近のデータは，これらの検査結果の陽性群の扁摘後の二次疾患の改善とは必ずしも相関していないという結果であった^1）。また扁桃誘発試験の結果が陰性であったにもかかわらず，扁摘後に劇的に二次疾患が改善される症例に遭遇することもしばしば経験する。患者にとってより負担が少なく術後の二次疾患改善を推定できる診断方法の確立が各研究者によつて試みられているが，今回われわれは低出力レーザーを用いた扁桃誘発試験を試み，従来より施行されている超短波刺激法による誘発試験と比較して検討した。

We tried tonsillar provocation test on 24 pa-tients by the direct irradiation of the low power laser in comparison with the indirect irradiation of ultra-micro waves. The laser used in this study was a He-Ne laser with a 632.8nm wave-length and 8.5mw power (Model PDT, Senko Medical Instrument Co, Tokyo). The positive rate of tonsillar provocation test by the indirect irradiation of ultra-micro waves was 50.0% and that by the direct irradiation of the low power laser was 45.8%.
